He began his career with Public Bank Securities Sdn. Bhd. and thereafter served with United Overseas Bank Berhad. He has had diverse experience throughout his career covering consumer and corporate banking, corporate finance and advisory, mergers and acquisitions, financial services, risk management, human resources and procurement.

In 2005, he joined DRB-HICOM Berhad where he assumed several leadership roles including that of Principal Controller, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer in various companies within the DRB-HICOM Group. He was the Group Chief Executive Officer of KL Airport Services Sdn Bhd, the aircraft ground handling, cargo and logistics arm of DRB-HICOM Group.

On 1 July 2011, he joined Pos Malaysia as Group Chief Operating Officer and was thereafter re-designated as Covering Group Chief Executive Officer on 1 February 2013. In 2013, he joined Konsortium Logistik Berhad as Group Chief Executive Officer. He was appointed as the Group Chief Executive Officer of Pos Malaysia Berhad on 1 November 2015.

Prior to his appointment as Chief Operating Officer of Malaysia Airports, he was the Chief Operating Officer of AirAsia Malaysia.
