Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (Malaysia Airports or The Group) wishes to announce that the following wholly-owned subsidiaries (registered in Labuan) have filled for application and subsequently completed the dissolution by way of Alternative Procedure for Voluntary Winding up pursuant to Section 131A of the Labuan Companies Act 1990:

The Labuan Companies have received Certificates of Declaration of Dissolution issued by Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA) on 2 October 2018. Notifications of Distribution of Surplus Assets (Form 44) have been submitted accordingly to LFSA on the 8 October 2018 and the dissolution exercise has now been fully completed.

Prior to the application for dissolution (by way of Alternative Procedure for Voluntary Winding Up), the Labuan Companies have discharged all its debts and liabilities.

Both the Labuan Companies did not carry out any Labuan trading or non-trading business since its inception and have remained dormant. The dissolution exercise is part of Malaysia Airports’ continued initiative to reduce the number of dormant companies within the Group and to save future administrative costs in maintaining these Labuan Companies.

The aforesaid dissolution (by way of Alternative Procedure for Voluntary Winding Up) do not have any significant effect on the share capital and shareholding structure of the Group nor have any material impact on the operation, earnings and net assets of the Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2018.

None of the Directors or major shareholders of the Group, or persons connected with them, has any interest, direct or indirect, in the dissolution of the Labuan Companies.
