Further to the announcement dated 25 August 2015,  Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad ("MAHB") wishes to announce that Malaysia Airports (Properties) Sdn Bhd (“Malaysia Airports (Properties)”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of MAHB had, on 25 September 2018, received the award from the Arbitral Tribunal in favour of Kuala Lumpur Aviation Fueling System Sdn Bhd (“KAFS”) in relation to the dispute arising pursuant to the Airport Facilities Agreement dated 26 September 2007. The award is only in respect of liability and the quantum will be decided by the Arbitral Tribunal in a separate proceeding at a later stage.

The award is not expected to have a material effect on the earnings and the net assets of MAHB for the financial year ending 31 December 2018.

None of the Directors or major shareholders of MAHB or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the aforesaid award.

MAHB will make further announcements on any material development on this matter from time to time.
