In furtherance to the announcement made by Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (“the Company”) on 30 April 2018, we wish to announce that the Federal Court on 1 August 2018 had dismissed the Company’s application for leave to appeal to the Federal Court with cost. Pursuant to this decision, the legal action initiated by Syarikat Pembinaan Anggerik Sdn Bhd will now be heard in the High Court instead of arbitration.   

The abovesaid decision is not expected to have a material impact on the earnings and the net assets of the Company as the decision only relates to the forum of the underlying dispute to be resolved, and not the merits of the same.  

Any further updates in respect of material development of this case will be made from time to time.
