Mohd Nizam Mohd Khir is currently the Head Transport and Logistics Section Government Investment Companies Division, Ministry of Finance (MOF). Prior to the appointment to his current position, he held several positions in the MOF, beginning with Principal Assistant Secretary, Corporate Strategy and Communications Division in 2012, Principal Assistant Secretary Development Fund Incentive Unit Strategic Investment Division in 2014, and Deputy Director National Strategy Unit in 2018.
He began his career in Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry (MOA) as Assistant Secretary Human Resource Division in 2003, Assistant Secretary Promotion Investment, Business Development and Privatization Division in 2006, and Principal Assistant Secretary Corporate Communications Division in year 2008. He was then promoted as Special Officer to H.E Dato Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Minister in Ministry of International Trade and Industry, a position which he had held from 2009 to 2012.
